Super Saturday 2014

Super Saturday is a community event hosted in Union Grove on Main Street the first Saturday of September. This event is a day dedicated to family, community, fun, and everything that makes Union Grove special. You can find more about Super Saturday here.

There are so many fun activities taking place on Super Saturday-including a Super Hero 5k Run/Walk sponsored by Community State Bank, a talent competition sponsored by Union Grove Piggly Wiggly, laser tag sponsored by the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, a street dance sponsored by the Union Grove Kiwanis, and many vendors providing products, games, and food for everyone to enjoy!

Did you know that Union Grove got its name from Governor Dodge who combined the school’s name (Union School) with grove for the grove of burr oak trees on the west side of highway 45? The Racine County Water Rescue Response Team is a combination of local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other public safety organizations operating in Racine County. This team was established in 2004, you can find out more about the the Racine County Water Rescue Response Team here.

Cuddles and Billy the Clowns were in the Village Square on Super Saturday creating some incredible face paintings and balloon sculptures for children. They are available to provide entertainment for any occasion including picnics, birthday parties, and more. They even provide themed parties and magic shows!
